So, spoiler alert for Muv-Luv Alternative, but the tl;dr is that Sumika is an esper, in both directions! Not so much hearing your thoughts, but seeing your feelings as colors and your memories as images. When I say "both directions", it means she can also project images onto others, but unless it lines up with whatever the person is thinking or reasoning at the time, it will seem like nothing more than a stray thought.

If you DO NOT want your character to be able to be read at all, or if there is anything special to note about their state of mind you'd like me to know when she reads them, please comment here! Her ribbon acts as a limiter, so any OOC limitations are easily handwaved as having been programmed in by default.
